Poem 00

Are you the one made for me?
The only one who'll understand
My ups and downs, the crazy,
The one who'll survive that?

Are you the one who was sent
To help me forget the past,
The hurt and pain, the tears,
The one to make all of it go away?

Are you the one who'll stick with me
Even though I'm not much of a talker,
My mood changes like the weather,
And I may at times be cold?

I'm not looking for a lot, no.
I just want someone who'll stay,
Who'll need me and love me,
But I don't feel that from you.

We'll try to work this out, I know.
We'll see how and where this'll go.
I'm hoping for change to come,
To know if you're really the one for me.
